At the end of Milwaukee Tool’s first Pipeline 2020 episode, they said that we could look forward to news about Milwaukee entering a brand new category.
Over at the Pipeline signup page, Milwaukee Tool says:
Be the first to experience the expansion of our PACKOUT system as well as our expansion into a new product category for Milwaukee Tool!
Hmm, a brand new product category for Milwaukee Tool… what do you think it could mean?
The new Milwaukee Packout vacuum is their first (non-radio) M18 + Packout tool storage product. Perhaps there are other M18 cordless power tool and Packout innovations soon to be announced? But that wouldn’t be a new category, would it?

I would venture a guess that it’s not going to be related to jobsite lighting, PPE, or trade-specific tools.
It probably isn’t related to Milwaukee Packout tool storage products either, since that’s an existing and expansive category in itself.
