Ryobi posted a new teaser video hyping up some new unidentified cordless power tool they’re soon coming out with.
All we know is that it will be a new Ryobi One+ 18V cordless power tool product.
They say it will “blow you away,” but the tone of the video also suggests it’s some kind of workshop tool, as opposed to another new cordless blower or similar.
Maybe Ryobi is getting back into the benchtop tools category?
Ryobi didn’t send any PR or news to media channels about this, all they have is a hype video of Ryobi product people and (paid?) influencers talking things up, with a BLEEP in audio and censor box covering their mouths where you would expect the name or description of a tool.
Am I the only one who finds these kinds of prolonged hint-free hype-building reveals to be tiring? It’s like the corporate equivalent of a drawn-out surprise unboxing video, but without being able to fast-forward. Now if you excuse me, I think there are kids I need to shoo away from my lawn.
